When my brother Lenny, along with Karen and Lacey, helped me turn our story into the song, the words became the guiding light for everything CHERUBS stood for. The core message we wanted to share with grieving parents was simple but profound: "It's Not the end. / It's a New Beginning / Find Joy through all the pain." Choosing donation is an unimaginable decision, but it offers a way to step in when "There's a child waiting desperately / For a gift of life." It allows a family to turn their deepest loss into a miracle, ensuring their little one's memory shines brightly as a beacon of hope and "A New Beginning" for other children who were praying for "The Gift of Life."
