SanGeo

Sandy and Georgia over 60 years soulmates forever.

Georgia was fiercely independent and had just been accepted to travel the world as an American Airlines flight attendant, but a blind date in 1965 changed her entire trajectory. She happily traded the skies for a life with Sandy, embracing the role she proudly calls being a stay-at-home mom and "domestic engineer".

For nearly six decades, she has been the unwavering anchor to Sandy’s relentless career ambition. When Sandy launched a custom home business called Inglenook Homes, Georgia actively stepped in as the Design Coordinator. She offered him profound business wisdom, warning him: "You should be building for the masses, not for the classes". Sandy ignored her advice, built luxury homes right as interest rates skyrocketed, and nearly went bankrupt. Yet, in the face of financial ruin, Georgia remained his strongest supporter. As Sandy admits, she "stood by me all the way," even graciously allowing him to sell their newly remodeled house so they could start over in Florida. Whether Sandy was facing a terrifying misdiagnosis of terminal cancer, or the family was navigating the heartbreaking loss of their son, Scott, Georgia has always been the steadfast emotional glue that holds the "SanGeo" family together.
